122. Each Legislature shall have the power of legislation within the limits prescribed by the Constitution. It shall also have authority to sanction the budget of revenues and expenditure and control public finances; to enquire into administration and discuss matters of public importance; as well as to adopt proclamations and resolutions and determine principles according to which state affairs shall be admirustered. It may censure the Government or one of its incumbents for maladministration and impeach before the Supreme Court of India by two-thirds majority of votes cast the President of the Federation or the Head of the Unit or Sub-Unit concerned for acts of treason, breach of the Constitution, bribery or other high crimes or misdemeanours.
