The great thing that this Constitution brings to notice, not only to this country but to the whole world is the abolition of untouchability. The fair name of India was a slur and a blot by having untouchability, Great avathars and great saints tried their level best to abolishuntouchability but it is given to this august Assembly and the new Constitution to say in loud terms that no more untouchability shall stay in our country.
